We are recruiting for a well-established independent workshop in the Elsterwick area that is seeking a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic with strong experience in European vehicles to join our growing team.
We specialise in servicing and repairing premium European brands and are looking for a technician who takes pride in precision workmanship and high-quality customer service.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
* Servicing and repairs on European vehicles (including diagnostics)
* Advanced fault finding using scan tools
* Engine, transmission, suspension and brake repairs
* Timing chains/belts and major service work
* Electrical and mechanical diagnostics
* Road testing and quality control checks
* Maintaining workshop cleanliness and safety standards
About You
To be successful, you will have:
* Trade qualification as a Light Vehicle Mechanic
* Proven experience working on European brands (BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, etc.)
* Strong diagnostic capabilities
* Familiarity with European diagnostic systems and scan tools
* Current driver's licence
* High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
* Ability to work independently and within a team
* A professional attitude and strong work ethic
