The key responsibilities for this role are to process payroll end to end in a timely and accurate manner, maintaining and managing the Payroll Databases to ensure data integrity and assist the Financial Controller.
**Duties Include**:
- Process fortnightly payrolls as assigned accurately and on time, including the accurate management of allowances, deductions, benefits, novated leases, and superannuation.
- Maintain the Employee Personal Record filing system.
- Ensure legal compliance to all current and relevant legislation.
- Ensure compliance to policy, audit requirements and procedures.
- Maintenance of standard operating procedures and management of relevant awards / agreements.
- Maintain the Payroll Databases to ensure data integrity and that it is reflective of live information.
**About You**:
- Previous relevant Payroll experience (2+ years desirable)
- Positive verbal & written communications and interpersonal skills.
- Intermediate excel skills
- Excellent time management skills.
- Knowledge of relevant employment and statutory legislation (withholding tax, payroll tax, Fair Work Act, Privacy Act etc.).
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines
