Overview
Postgraduate Fellow - Molecular Haematology - Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (eCred) — NSW Health. Fixed Term Full Time (1.0 FTE). 40 hours per week. From 2 February 2026 up to 31 January 2027.

What You'll Be Doing
- Provide high quality diagnostic, consultative, procedural and on-call specialty services in Laboratory Haematology and Clinical Haematology, and participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities commensurate with the Staff Specialists (State) Award.
- Ensure a high standard of professional performance and encourage an academic setting which supports research and development.
Selection Criteria
- Currently registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia in Laboratory Haematology and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Clinical Haematology, and/or other specialist recognition as provided under the Staff Specialists (State) Award. Applicants expected to obtain Fellowship with the RCPA and RACP by Feb 2026 are eligible to apply.
- Demonstrated commitment to basic, applied or clinical research and/or medical education and staff training.
- Proven ability to work as a team member with effective communication, interpersonal skills and adaptability to work within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Demonstrated personal qualities including effective communication skills, motivation, initiative, time management and commitment to professional development.
- Commitment to clinical quality management, continuous improvement and knowledge of NPAAC Standards and NATA accreditation processes.
- Contemporary clinical knowledge and technical expertise in Laboratory Haematology and Clinical Haematology.
- Interest in Laboratory Haematology with knowledge of Molecular Haematopathology.
