Research Analyst l Business Consultant l Strategic Analyst l Growth Advisor
Location: Remote – Anywhere in Australia
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for financial modelling, data analysis, forecasting, and reporting to support strategic decision-making. Whether you're looking for a part time position or a full-time career opportunity, this remote role offers flexibility and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial models, forecasts, and performance analysis
- Monitor KPIs and provide actionable insights to management
- Create monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
- Support budgeting and variance analysis processes
- Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking
- Assist in investment and profitability analysis
- Present financial data to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 1–3 years of relevant experience (entry-level candidates with strong academic background will also be considered)
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills; experience with financial tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, QuickBooks, Xero) is a plus
- High attention to detail and strong analytical mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
- Must be based in Australia and available during AEST/AEDT time zones
