Overview
Our client URGENTLY requires a Senior Infrastructure Engineer for a 12 months + Contract in Canberra.
The Infrastructure Engineers implement, manage and retire the infrastructure (including physical, virtual, networking and cloud infrastructure) that supports digital services. You will design/evaluate/implement infrastructure requirements to meet future infrastructure demand and provide expert technical support for project build, test and solution deployment activities.

Skills and Experience / Qualifications
- 5 years demonstrated experience in the design, management and maintenance of internet gateway and/or large scale data centre networking environment.
- Experience and technical proficiency in the design of services utilising F5/Blue Coat Layer 4-7 switching/load balancing and proxy systems is desirable.
- Experience in the design and deployment of network infrastructure including Cisco Data Centre technologies is also desirable.
- Demonstrated experience with and/or detailed understanding of Palo Alto firewalls and IPS Solutions and experience with or knowledge of Australian Government information security policies, the ASD Information Security Manual and Essential Eight would be advantageous.
- Must have (minimum) NV1 security clearance.
