Roof Installation and Maintenance Specialist
Job Overview:
As a Roof Installation and Maintenance Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of our solar PV installations. You will work closely with our installation teams to prepare roofs for PV panel installations, ensuring that all necessary brackets and railing are installed correctly.
* Ensure correct roof brackets and railing are installed on properties in preparation for PV solar installation.
* Run DC cabling to relevant locations to support AC installations.
* Collect job sheets through contracts team and allocate resources/materials to properties for installation services.
* Support colleagues to optimize operation service procedures.
* Provide paperwork and photographic evidence of pre, during, and post-installation works to contracts admin team.
* Contribute to contract planning and ensure accurate data for service planning and delivery.
* Support operations teams with roof surveys and reports for optimum PV solar installations.
* Encourage staff while ensuring successful delivery of all aspects of the business.
* Develop an understanding of our work and customer needs.
* Comply with our policies and procedures, including Health and Safety policies.
* Carry out other duties as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience in roofing installation and maintenance.
* Able to keep clear records and share information effectively.
* Ability to use solar design software and customer database CRM.
* Good communication, presentation, and customer service skills.
* Self-motivated with time management and teamwork skills.
* Knowledge of digital data technologies and IT systems.
* Excellent digital and data skills with MS Office applications.
* Knowledge of health and safety and safeguarding procedures.
