Job Description
As our #AAA team continues to grow, we're looking for a Senior Occupational Therapist to support participants across the Illawarra region, covering Nowra, North and South Wollongong, depending on where you're based – work close to home!
Responsibilities
* Manage an allocated caseload (based on your negotiated hours) and deliver timely therapeutic services
* Assess participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
* Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
* Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goals
* Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance
* Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to support participant outcomes
* Caseload will be tailored to your experience, interests and professional goals
* Support the growth and development of graduates and early career clinicians
Qualifications
* Current Occupational Therapy membership with AHPRA
* Experience as an Occupational Therapist or Senior Occupational Therapist beyond graduation
* Passionate about community‐based support for people with disability
* Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
* Thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment
* Desire to mentor graduates and early career clinicians
