* Located at the La Trobe Melbourne (Bundoora) Campus
* HEO7
* Base salary from $103,171 per annum + 17% Superannuation

About the position

This position leads the La Trobe Business School administration team to ensure the teaching and research needs of its disciplines and research groups are delivered efficiently and effectively. Key responsibilities include developing, implementing and maintaining School administrative processes and ensuring team members prioritise work in line with operational requirements while completing tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

The role works closely with the Senior Manager to support the effective allocation and management of School resources, and provides high-level advice, support and reporting on academic and administrative policies and procedures to staff, students, stakeholders and the broader community, while contributing to continuous improvement, effective stakeholder engagement and a collaborative, high-performing team culture.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position, you will have

* An undergraduate degree in any area relevant to the position with at least 4 years subsequent experience; or extensive experience and management expertise; or an equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, especially the capacity to work collaboratively and cooperatively in small teams.
* Demonstrated management and leadership skills with successful experience in managing and leading staff to promote a cohesive and effective team and managing workflows.
* Demonstrated organisation and problem‐solving skills, with an ability to manage several different projects concurrently.
* Demonstrated high level of self‐motivation and personal management skills.
