ABOUT THE ROLE
Ngala is seeking a committed and capable Accounts Payable Officer to oversee the Accounts Payable function and Fleet Coordination, contributing to financial reporting through the completion of various monthly finance functions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Ensuring accurate and timely invoice entries, preparation of weekly and ad hoc bank payments, including preparation of all end-of-month reports and reconciliations;
* Reconciling supplier statements, investigating and resolving any discrepancies or queries in a timely manner;
* Coordinating the administration of fleet vehicles, including vehicle changeovers and maintaining relevant documentation and schedules;
* Supporting the preparation and delivery of documentation for the annual audit, and any other required reporting.
ABOUT YOU
* Experience working in a not-for-profit, healthcare, or community services environment (desirable);
* Relevant qualification in Accounting or bookkeeping;
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar finance role, with a focus on accounts payable transactional processing;
* Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data entry and reconciliation tasks;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service mindset;
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines;
* A collaborative and proactive team player with a positive and professional attitude.
The successful candidate will need to hold a current WA driver's licence and satisfactory National Police Clearance obtained within the last six months and possess a working with children’s check.
