We can't achieve this ambition without dedicated, passionate employees. We're seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Insurance Specialist to play a key role in supporting the day‐to‐day operations and ongoing success of our Insurance Services business.
Reporting to the Insurance Operations Manager, this temporary 12 month fixed‐term role is based at our head office in Mulgrave and works closely with internal stakeholders, underwriters and our Retailer Network to deliver strong operational outcomes, excellent service and compliant insurance processes.

Qualifications What you'll do:
* Execute month‐end processing activities, including support for dealer commission processes
* Liaise and negotiate with insurance underwriters to drive positive outcomes for the Mercedes‐Benz dealer network and customers on operational and policy‐related matters
* Coordinate and support the resolution of Business Manager escalations with underwriters and relevant stakeholders
* Act as the primary point of contact for insurance‐related communication with internal teams, including Sales and Operations
* Support the implementation of strategies and initiatives that deliver excellent customer and retailer service outcomes
* Contribute to ongoing compliance, training and audit activities to ensure adherence to legislative and regulatory requirements
* Act as a Subject Matter Expert, supporting projects, process improvements and change initiatives within Insurance Services
The skills and experience we're looking for:
* Experience within insurance operations, ideally within automotive, financial services or a regulated environment
* Strong knowledge of insurance processes, compliance requirements and stakeholder management
* Proven ability to build effective working relationships with underwriters, retailers and internal teams
* Confident communication and negotiation skills, with a customer‐ and solution‐focused mindset
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
* A proactive, collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to continuous improvement and change
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
