Working as a Project Engineer at Quickway is exciting
Quickway has been delivering major infrastructure projects across NSW for the past 19 years. We specialise in Roads & Bridges, Concrete Structures, Tunnels, Rail, Communications, Electrical, Water and Traffic Management. We have been working directly for Transport NSW for the past 8 years, and more recently Sydney Water.
About the Role
You will be part of the project team delivering two bridges and associated roadworks on Quickway's newly awarded $75m Ballina bridge duplication project, which is scheduled to commence in February 2026 and run through to completion in the second half of 2027.
As a Project Engineer at Quickway, you will:
* Play a key role in the planning, coordination, and execution of project activities.
* Provide technical input, review designs, and ensure construction meets specification and quality standards.
* Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to achieve project milestones.
* Monitor cost, schedule, and progress reporting in collaboration with the Project Manager.
* Maintain a strong focus on safety, ensuring compliance with company and client requirements.
What You Will Bring
* Relevant degree qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Site Engineer or Project Engineer role
* Proven experience delivering Highways, Roads and Bridges
* Strong technical understanding of construction methodologies and quality control processes.
* Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving, planning, and safety management.
* Experience working with TfNSW & Local Councils or similar clients will be highly regarded.
