Role Overview
The Pharmacy Purchasing Officer will be responsible for undertaking and developing their skill set in a Pharmacy Store environment at University Hospital Geelong.
Key Responsibilities:
* Purchasing pharmaceuticals in line with HSV contracts and preferred supplier arrangements
* General stock control
* Adherence to approved purchasing processes and documentation
Requirements
* Previous experience in a similar role is desirable

About the Workplace
The Pharmacy Department is staffed by 120 EFT staff across the acute site, rehabilitation and aged care site, and private hospital. The department provides clinical pharmacy services, aseptic and oncology preparation, HITH and outpatient services.
The Pharmacy Department is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy education and in the medical course at Deakin University. Pharmacy practice research is a focus with local and collaborative projects with universities, particularly Monash University and other healthcare facilities.
