About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced CNC Machinist to join a high-performing workshop team. Working with advanced CNC machinery, you will play a key role in the production of precision components, ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety standards are consistently met.
You will work closely with a collaborative team while also having the autonomy to manage your own machining processes, making this a well-rounded and engaging role.
Key Responsibilities
* Program, set, and operate CNC lathes and 3 & 4 axis milling machines
* Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings and specifications
* Produce high-quality components to tight tolerances
* Troubleshoot machining issues and implement effective solutions
* Monitor machining processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace
* Work collaboratively with team members to meet production deadlines
* Contribute to continuous improvement within the workshop
About You
* Trade qualification in Engineering (Machining) or strong hands-on CNC experience
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Experience with CNC programming, with G-Code knowledge highly regarded
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Current C Class Driver's Licence
* Full Australian working rights, or currently based in Australia and eligible for employer sponsorship
