As a Service Technician in our Mackay branch you will be a key member of the Crosscom Technical Services team and be hands on with clients across industry sectors, understanding their needs and requirements therefore setting them up for success. You will work around servicing, maintenance on both new and existing clients, being an SME on the Crosscom technology and be best positioned to consult on the utilisation, optimisation making productive recommendations and assisting the business development goals CSE Crosscom.
Responsibilities
* Provide servicing and maintenance on both new and existing clients' telecommunications solutions.
* Act as a subject-matter expert (SME) on Crosscom technology and consult on utilisation and optimisation to drive productive recommendations.
* Assist with business development goals by communicating client needs and potential solutions.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Certifications in Electronics & Communications, RF engineering or related field.
* Previous experience in a client-facing environment in Radio, Wireless IP Networking or Microwave technology (Analogue, P25 & DMR experience highly favorable).
* Experience in a Technician/Service-based role with a track record of high-level customer service.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate to all levels of business.
* Exceptional critical thinking, problem solving, fault finding and decision making around client needs to provide expert solutions, including in time-critical circumstances.
