Your new role
As an ICT Project Manager, you will take a leading role within a multi‑disciplinary team, delivering concurrent technology projects focused on Financial Management Systems. Operating across both business and technical domains, you will provide strategic advice, manage complex stakeholder environments, and enable scalable technical solutions aligned to evolving organisational needs.
You will be responsible for end‑to‑end project delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, quality, budget, and risk are actively managed. Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills will be critical as you engage executives, technical teams, and external vendors to achieve successful outcomes.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
* Proven experience delivering concurrent ICT projects, ideally within Financial Management Systems (e.g. TechOne, TM1 or similar enterprise platforms)
* Strong knowledge of Commonwealth governance and compliance frameworks, including CPRs, PSPF, and the PGPA Act
* Expertise in procurement activities, including developing business and technical requirements, RFTs, and Statements of Requirement
* Experience managing external vendors and delivery partners, ensuring contractual, milestone, and quality expectations are met
* A collaborative approach to stakeholder management with the ability to negotiate outcomes and resolve delivery issues
* Demonstrated experience overseeing testing, quality assurance, risk management, and release planning
* The ability to prepare high‑quality project documentation and deliver concise, executive‑level reporting
* Experience drafting change management and transition plans to support successful implementation
