This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to biomedical engineering education by delivering excellent teaching in health technology innovation, biomechanics, and biomechanical design. As a Lecturer, you will be responsible for establishing a research program in multidisciplinary experimental biomechanics and biomechanical simulation.
Key Responsibilities:
* To deliver high-quality teaching in health technology innovation, biomechanics, and biomechanical design.
* To establish a research program in multidisciplinary experimental biomechanics and biomechanical simulation.
Skills and Qualifications:
* A PhD in biomechanical engineering or a related discipline, and/or relevant work experience.
* Demonstrated track record of developing innovative multidisciplinary approaches to solving clinically important unmet needs using biomechanics, biomechanical design, and/or biomechanical simulation techniques.
* Proven commitment to proactively keeping up to date with discipline knowledge and developments.
About the Role:
This role plays a pivotal part in supporting health technology innovation to address unmet clinical needs in collaboration with the Paul Trainor Chair. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic research environment and contribute to shaping the future of healthcare technology.
