About the Role: We are looking for a Psychologist to join a national occupational rehabilitation provider in Brisbane, QLD. This is a remote role with flexibility to work from home. Using your psychology background, you will apply your clinical knowledge in a non-clinical capacity, supporting individuals to achieve positive return to work and life outcomes. You will assess, plan, organise, and participate in rehabilitative programs while building sound relationships with customers. Your psychology expertise will be particularly valuable in understanding barriers to recovery, administering evidence-based assessments, and developing strategies to support clients across a range of conditions. Your main responsibilities will include: Managing a caseload of clients across a range of conditions Applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes Administering evidence-based assessments of clients' strengths and perceived barriers to returning to work Developing workplace based programs to achieve positive return to work outcomes Conducting Initial, Worksite and Home Assessments Working across various schemes such as workers compensation, CTP, life insurance and employer-funded programs Evaluating clients' progress and preparing detailed reports Recommending changes in clients' work or living environments consistent with their needs and capabilities Liaising with referring agency staff, workers, employers, medical practitioners and allied health professionals Completing and maintaining necessary records and documentation Benefits: $85K - $95K base salary plus superannuation Remote role - work from home Flexible working including adjusted hours and option to work a compressed 9-day fortnight Full travel reimbursement Novated vehicle leasing Non-clinical opportunity to use your clinical and rehab knowledge CPD opportunities A genuinely supportive culture with team mentoring Regular social events including team challenges Additional leave options - birthday leave, purchase leave, grandparent leave and loyalty leave Paid volunteer, study and parental leave Wellness allowance and access to various wellness apps and subscriptions About You: Tertiary qualifications in Psychology Full AHPRA registration Experience in occupational rehabilitation or employment services preferred Knowledge of Workers' Compensation and injury management desirable Outstanding communication and networking skills Ability to self-motivate and self-manage workload Exceptional customer service skills Strong report writing skills Driver's licence and vehicle Eligible to work permanently in Australia About Us: MediRecruit provides a specialist healthcare recruitment and career advisory service for Allied Health professionals in Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.
