Role Overview
The Clinical Nurse Specialist plays a pivotal role in cancer care, coordinating timely and holistic patient-centered care within multidisciplinary teams.
As an advanced practice nurse, the ideal candidate will provide specialist nursing care to patients with cancer or haematological conditions.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of high-quality person-centered care at an advanced practice level for designated specialties.
* Provide clinical leadership and support for less experienced clinicians to achieve quality care outcomes.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate competencies in providing specialty Oncology or Haematology nursing care within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Requirements
1. Registration and Qualifications
o Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
o Relevant post-registration qualifications in Oncology or Haematology with a minimum of three years' experience working in the clinical specialty.
