About the Role
As a Personal Carer, you will work under the direction of our Enrolled & Registered Nurses to provide person-centred care to our residents. This includes providing personal care services such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and other support services depending on individual needs. You will demonstrate compassion, sensitivity, and maturity to create a safe and welcoming environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents
* Work collaboratively with Enrolled & Registered Nurses to develop and implement care plans
* Assist with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
* Maintain accurate records of resident care and communication
Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will hold a Certificate III in Aged Care (or equivalent) and have an understanding of aged care and resident rights and responsibilities. You will also possess strong attention to detail, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to work well within a team environment. Flexibility with availability, including nights, is also essential.
