This role is integral to our Association Client Engagement team and supports our team of professional client engagement managers to progress international bid opportunities.

This role involves:

* Work with an agile multi-skilled Client Engagement team to support the acquisition of business events in the Association market for Sydney.
* Support the Client Engagement team to progress bid opportunities, including:
* Prepare professional bid/proposal documents, pitch presentations and other collateral.
* Coordinate and provide administrative support for bid committee activities including meetings, workshops, site inspections and virtual collaboration.
* Prepare and maintain project management and bid collateral using existing Playbook tools and templates.
* Liaise with BESydney Strategic Partners & Members to request venue and hotel proposals.
* Contribute to project milestones and ensuring all activities align with agreed timelines and objectives.
* Desktop research to support business case development.

More about you:

* 3+ years' experience in an internal-facing bid/proposal or business development support, account or project support or a marketing role.
* Proficient use of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
* Strong collaborative and team work ethic.
* Demonstrated ability to work in an organised, and methodical manner.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail.
* Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while prioritising effectively to meet deadlines.
* Self-driven motivation and resourcefulness.
* A proactive and curious mindset and an ability to think strategically.
* Understanding of, and interest in, broad national and international travel, cultural, economic, business and social trends.

It's great if you also bring:

* Proficient use of Adobe InDesign to produce bid documents and collateral using existing templates.
* A bidding / business development, not-for-profit and / or academic background.
* SharePoint, Salesforce and Canva experience.
* Database management skills and are digitally savvy.
