The Organisation
The Push-Up Challenge is Australia's largest mental health and fitness fundraising campaign, delivered annually by the Push for Better Foundation.
Each year, the organisation runs a single, high-impact national and international digital campaign engaging hundreds of thousands of participants, supported by a sophisticated communications and marketing engine.
Since launching in 2017, more than one million people have taken part, collectively completing over one billion push-ups and raising more than $70 million for mental health causes.
In 2025 alone, the campaign engaged 232,000 participants, saw over 330 million push-ups completed and raised $12.8 million.
This is not a collection of small initiatives. It is one major, fixed-deadline annual campaign that requires clarity of strategy, strong systems and exceptional execution.
