About the role:
The Ticketing Officer plays a key role in the successful operation of Saltwater and the Old Courthouse Complex. As the first point of contact for visitors, this position provides exceptional customer service and supports ticketing operations. Reporting to the Venue Operations Supervisor, this position is essential in delivering a professional, welcoming, and well‐organised precinct experience.
What you'll be doing:
* Deliver high quality customer service and manage ticket sales across online and in‐person channels.
* Respond to enquiries about events, exhibitions, and venue hire.
* Maintain a clean, welcoming venue and ensure building security when opening or closing.
* Build and manage events in the ticketing system, ensure accurate information, and liaise with hirers.
* Support merchandise accessioning and assist with event planning and general administrative tasks.
What you'll bring to the role:
The ideal candidate will align with the City's Values and be able to demonstrate the below competencies.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in ticketing or event logistics.
* Strong computer skills and confidence learning new systems.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* A positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to support a variety of tasks.

* Proof of right to work in Australia.
Hours and conditions:
This role is casual and the working days and times are expected to vary between day and evening shifts, including weekends.
