Children's Ground fosters vibrant community spaces and skills development across five Top End communities. This role leads placemaking initiatives, workforce capacity building, and infrastructure management to enhance public participation, economic opportunities, and cultural sustainability.
About the Role
* Community-led placemaking: Collaborate with local communities to co-design initiatives that reflect cultural knowledge and priorities.
* Community capacity building & mentorship: Support leadership and skill development among community members, ensuring long-term sustainability of governance and planning structures.
* Place keeping: Oversee maintenance and functionality of communal spaces, ensuring safety, well-maintenance, and meeting program needs.
* Fleet Management: Monitor fleet performance, maintain vehicles, and oversee GPS tracking system implementation.
* Relationship Management: Develop strong relationships with local organizations, First Nations leaders, government agencies, and funding partners.
