We are currently seeking an experienced and safety-focused HC Driver to join our team based in Hope Valley, supporting operations between our facility and local quarry sites.
Shift Details
* Monday to Friday
* 6:30am – 4:00pm
* Casual position with view to permanent employment
About the Role
This position is a combination of yard work and short-distance haulage, transporting materials between our facility and quarry.
Key responsibilities include:
* Operating end tipper and side tipper combinations
* Transporting materials safely between sites
* Working within a busy, high-traffic yard environment
* Maintaining clear and consistent communication via two-way radio
* Coordinating movements with plant operators and team members
* Following site procedures to ensure safe and efficient operations
* Assisting with general yard duties as required
This is a hands-on role requiring strong awareness, teamwork, and the ability to communicate clearly in real time.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
* Current HC Licence
* Current Commercial Driver’s Medical
* Current Fatigue Management Certificate
* Experience operating end tipper and/or side tipper trailers
You will also demonstrate:
* Ability to communicate clearly and confidently via two-way radio
* Strong situational awareness in a busy yard environment
* Positive and respectful communication with team members
* Commitment to safe work practices and following procedures
* Reliability and punctuality – consistent attendance is essential
* Willingness to assist with yard duties when required
Desirable
* MC Licence (Multi-Combination)
* Experience in quarry, waste, or recycling environments
