The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Assistant to join our Perth Family Law team on a permanent part-time or full time basis.
In this role, you will support highly credentialed and respected Partner, Kym Kerr.
Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Preparing legal documents and letters;
- Diary management;
- Dictaphone typing using Bighand;
- Billing - amending bills and creating letters;
- Filing;
- Archiving;
- Safe custody;
- Formatting of documents; and
- File management including liaising with clients, barristers, family report writers, mediators, etc.
Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years experience as a legal assistant.
You will possess solid administration experience in a professional services environment.
The successful applicant will be an integral member of a cohesive and collaborative team.
You will have the ability to prioritise tasks, display initiative, have good attention to detail, a proven history of meeting deadlines and have strong commercial acumen.
We are open to hearing from candidates who are law students and can work a minimum of 3 days per week.
