Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Community Projects Supervisor to lead hands-on community-based activities that empower women to build confidence, develop practical skills, and explore employment pathways.
The successful candidate will have experience in community development programs or employment services and a strong interest in Indigenous cultural activities, including traditional arts, crafts, storytelling, bush foods, or local enterprise.
The role requires the ability to work independently and keep small teams on task, as well as a willingness to support people with limited work experience.
The supervisor will introduce safe work practices, facilitate daily toolbox talks, track attendance, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations that reflect the needs and interests of the Belyuen community.
A commitment to cultural awareness and inclusivity is crucial in motivating and supervising participants from diverse backgrounds across various skill areas.
The successful applicant will be rewarded with 5 weeks annual leave with 17.5% leave loading, salary packaging options up to $15,900 p.a., wellbeing and professional development opportunities.
