About the Opportunity An opportunity has arisen for a Mine Planning Engineer to join our Golden Grove operation in Western Australia. This site-based role reports to the Senior Mine Planning Engineer and operates on an 8:6 roster, with the flexibility to work part of each swing from our Perth office once you are familiar with the mine and design standards. Your focus will be on developing and optimising mine plans that support safe, efficient, and value-focused production outcomes. Your primary responsibilities will include: Producing detailed stope and development designs aligned to the mine plan and production targets. Reviewing and optimising short and medium-term schedules to maintain critical path delivery. Coordinating design documentation through to approval and stakeholder sign-off. Planning backfill, infrastructure, and other enabling projects for safe, efficient execution. Identifying and implementing improvements to planning processes and resource conversion. Coaching junior planners while demonstrating strong safety leadership and HSEC compliance. About You Our ideal candidate will have operational experience as a Mining Engineer, including underground mine design capability across short and medium-term planning horizons. Other key skills, experience, and qualifications: A tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or a related discipline. An understanding of underground mining methods, equipment, and backfill systems. Proficiency in mine planning software (Deswik preferred but not essential). A current C-class manual driver’s licence.
