Job Description
* Manage and oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and both Australian and global tax obligations, with strong knowledge of local tax frameworks and international considerations.
* Prepare detailed financial reports and present findings to senior management.
* Lead and mentor a team within the Accounting & Finance department overseas.
* Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives.
* Monitor cash flow and manage financial risks effectively.
* Collaborate with cross‐functional and international teams to optimise financial performance and ensure alignment across regions.
* Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and global reporting standards.
Qualifications
* A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Professional accreditation such as CPA or CA.
* Proven experience in financial management within the life science/healthcare industry.
* Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations.
* Excellent analytical and problem‐solving skills.
* Ability to lead and inspire a team in a collaborative environment.
* Proficiency in financial software and systems.
