About the Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Storeperson to join our Warehousing and Distribution team at our National Store, located at our Head Office in Geelong.
Reporting to the National Store Procurement and Inventory Manager and working closely with the Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
* Picking and packing orders using manual paper-based systems
* Forklift operation, including loading and unloading trucks
* Preparation of finished goods for local and interstate customers
* Truck and container unloading
* Stock receipting and checking delivery dockets for accuracy
* Stacking shelves and maintaining stock levels
* Accurate completion of paperwork and basic administrative tasks
* Assisting with monthly stocktakes
* Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe warehouse environment
* General warehouse duties as required
About You
You will be an energetic, reliable, and committed team player with a strong work ethic and a can-do attitude. You take pride in working safely, accurately, and efficiently in a warehouse environment and are comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team.
You will also bring the following:
* A current Victorian Forklift Licence (mandatory) with demonstrated forklift operating experience
* Previous warehouse or stores experience, including:
* Picking and packing orders using manual paper-based systems
* Truck loading and unloading
* General warehouse operations
* Physical fitness to safely perform manual handling tasks, including lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* High attention to detail with accurate paperwork and stock handling
* Good organisational and time management skills
* A willingness to learn and develop new skills
* Commitment to workplace health and safety standards
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities
* Basic computer skills, including use of MS Office (Excel, Outlook) and email
* A customer-focused approach and positive attitude
The following skills and experience would be highly regarded:
* High reach lifter and counterbalance forklift experience
* Container unloading experience
* Experience working in a high-volume order picking environment
* Familiarity with warehouse management systems
* Basic order processing or invoicing experience
* Experience with e-commerce order fulfilment
You must have your own reliable transport and be available to work Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm.
