Andrew Peace Wines is a large family owned winery and agriculture business with a focus on large scale production and export. Our operations rely on a diverse fleet of agricultural and winery-specific machinery—and we're looking for a fully qualified Agricultural Maintenance Technician to join our workshop team. The Role
Based in a well-equipped on-site workshop, you'll be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, diagnostics, and major repairs of our fleet of agricultural and winery equipment. You'll work both independently and as part of a collaborative team, ensuring our machinery operates safely and efficiently—especially during peak harvest periods.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance.
* Diagnose faults and perform mechanical repairs across a range of equipment.
* Overhaul engines and replace key components (clutches, brakes, bearings, etc.).
* Maintain clean, safe, and organized workshop operations.
* Accurately record all maintenance and repair activities.
* Adhere to all safety guidelines and operational protocols.
* Work rotating shifts, including extended hours and weekends when required.
What We're Looking For
* Fully qualified Diesel Mechanic with relevant trade certifications.
* Proven experience servicing and repairing agricultural vehicles or winery machinery.
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Willingness to work outdoors and at heights when required.
* Detail-oriented with a commitment to safety and quality.
* Excellent time-management and communication skills.
* Positive attitude and a team-focused mindset.
* Forklift licence or Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence.
Work Environment
* Primarily workshop-based with some outdoor work.
* Involves physical tasks including lifting, confined spaces, and elevated work.
* Rotating shifts and extended hours may be required during harvest and peak periods.
