Asset Security Concepts Pty Limited (ASC) is an established and experienced electronic security provider that offers a comprehensive range of security alarms, CCTV and access control solutions with complete design, installation and maintenance services for the retail, corporate and commercial sectors. With significant growth across the country ASC is expanding our Technical Support in our Rydalmere office.
About the role
Reporting to the Head of Managed Services you will be responsible for:
· Providing timely response with CCTV, alarm and access control technical solutions to field technicians;
· Programming and preparing alarm, access control and CCTV equipment for installation in client premises;
· Configuring and staging CCTV recorders and servers for release to our various clients, in accordance with ASC's technical descriptions;
· Follow quality control procedures, look for mistakes in the assembly process and faulty components and report problems;
· Assembly of custom modules that are used as supporting items to service our industry;
· Undertake any ad hoc projects, initiatives and tasks as directed;
· Perform all tasks to a high standard to meet Standard Operating Procedures and processes;
· Ensure safe operations;
· Working hours for this position are 8:00am to 4:30pm.
What we are looking for
To be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate:
· A basic knowledge of electronic security/access control and CCTV would be advantageous;
· Excellent communication skills;
· Knowledge of customer service;
· Problem solving and decision-making abilities;
· Attention to detail and accuracy is essential;
· Demonstrated organisational skills including the ability to work under pressure and multitask;
· Intermediate PC skills (Outlook, Word, Excel);
· Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial.
