About the role
The Manager Financial Operations leads the College's financial operations and is responsible for the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of financial management, accounting and reporting. Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, the role ensures effective financial controls, compliance with relevant legislation and policy, and the delivery of efficient financial services across the College. The position provides operational financial leadership and advice to support sound financial management and organisational performance.
To be successful in this role you will ideally have experience in leading financial operations within a complex organisation, including the preparation of statutory financial reports, managing budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensuring compliance with public sector financial frameworks such as the Financial Management Act and Treasurer's Instructions. You will bring strong financial governance capability, with the ability to implement and maintain effective internal controls and provide high-quality financial advice to support informed decision‐making and organisational performance.
