About the Role
As Café Manager, you'll take full ownership of daily operations and play a critical leadership role in delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading and motivating both front and back of house teams
* Ensuring outstanding customer service and hospitality
* Overseeing coffee and food presentation standards
* Barista duties and coffee quality control
* Rostering and scheduling to meet business needs
* Ordering and receiving goods, managing stock levels
* Monitoring costs, wastage, and supplier relationships
* Recruiting, onboarding, and training new staff
* Maintaining compliance with food safety and WHS standards
* Coordinating with ownership on business improvements and promotions
Who You Are
We're looking for a hospitality professional with a passion for coffee and leadership.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Strong barista skills and understanding of specialty coffee
* Excellent customer service and communication abilities
* Proven ability to lead a team and foster a positive workplace culture
* Strong organisational skills with a focus on efficiency and attention to detail
* Experience with ordering, inventory, cost control, and shift scheduling
* Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and WHS practices
* Flexibility to work across weekends and peak trade periods
* Full working rights in Australia –494 visa sponsorship as Cafe Manager available for the right candidate
