Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Financial Manager to manage our financial operations. This part-time position plays a vital role in overseeing the financial management of our thriving organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Processing accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions in a timely and accurate manner
* Reconciling bank statements and monitoring cash flow
* Preparing financial reports and assisting with month-end and year-end accounting tasks
* Providing administrative support to the leadership team
* Liaising with suppliers, parents and other stakeholders as needed
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
* Relevant experience as a Financial Manager or Accounts Clerk, preferably in an education or not-for-profit setting
* Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
* Proficiency in using the accounting software, Xero
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Demonstrated understanding of accounting principles and best practices
