About the role
The Officer, Student Services ICT supports and consults with university stakeholders to enable delivery of general and technical services to NIKERI staff and students, in a compliant and productive manner.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, support and provide advice regarding the Institute's ICT systems and infrastructure
- Maintain broad and up-to-date knowledge of ICT technology and processes
- Provide advice on the administration and use of university services and functions
- Contribute to projects including teaching space/meeting room upgrades
- Develop, review and update equipment inventories
- Perform processing and administrative tasks in line with university procedures (local timetable development, staff/student onboarding, asset procurement)
Qualifications
- Completion of a Degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or
- Completion of an Associate Diploma and at least two years subsequent relevant work experience; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
- An established knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander societies and issues affecting Indigenous people in contemporary Australian society
