Senior Manager/Director – Fund Operations
Location: Sydney
Join a leading Australian alternative asset manager in a senior leadership role managing fund operations. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a lean team, oversee complex fund structures, and work closely with product, client services, and distribution teams to collaborate in the development of innovative investment products for wholesale and intermediary investors.
Key Skills & Experience:
* 10+ years in fund operations, fund accounting and stakeholder engagement within alternative investments
* Proven leadership in managing and supervising operational teams
* Strong expertise in fund valuation methodologies, financial modelling, and investment compliance
* Experience working with offshore fund structures and complex investment products
* Ability to build and improve operational processes and controls
* Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills
* Technical proficiency in fund administration software and advanced Excel skills
Ideal Candidate:
* Demonstrated ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field (CA, CPA is strongly preferred)
* Strong proficiency in valuation methodologies, financial modelling, and accounting principles related to alternative investment funds. Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with fund administration or valuation software.
* Skilled in stakeholder management across External Vendors, Product, Client Services, and Distribution
* Passionate about innovation in alternative fund products
