Geospatial Data Analyst/Scientist Role
About the Position
This is a challenging and rewarding role that involves working with geospatial data to contribute to agri-environmental sustainability. You will be responsible for developing spatial data analysis skills, modeling, and reporting for agriculture and ecology projects.
Main Responsibilities
* Conduct statistical and spatial modeling using remote sensing techniques and in-field data integration.
* Create scripts and develop Excel calculators for process automation.
* Support carbon, vegetation, and biodiversity projects with spatial products analysis.
* Perform all stages of analysis for HIR and tree planting projects, including remote sensing, GIS, and abatement calculations.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geomatics, Computer Science, or related field.
* Experience in Agri-environmental, ERF sectors, or consulting context highly regarded.
* Proficiency in industry-standard geospatial software (e.g., ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, FME).
Desirable Skills
* Advanced IT systems management and Microsoft 365 suite skills.
* Familiarity with Sharepoint, Teams, and project management applications.
* Fluency in languages other than English for Europe and South America markets.
