This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned industrial electrician or electrical supervisor to join a global pharmaceutical manufacturer as part of their maintenance team.
The electrical supervisor plays a vital role in overseeing the maintenance and reliability engineering tasks, which include the redesign, upkeep, and repair of utility systems, buildings, and production equipment. The supervisor ensures that all electrical systems and equipment operate efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and lead a team of skilled electricians in performing maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems and equipment.
* Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and longevity of electrical systems.
* Conduct advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and resolve complex electrical issues.
* Evaluate and enforce adherence to electrical safety regulations and standards.
* Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities and minimize downtime.
* Provide technical guidance and training to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and issues.
Requirements:
* Hold a current A-grade electrical license + Electrical qualification (Cert 4).
* Minimum 3-5 years of industrial electrician experience.
* Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
* Knowledge of PLC, industrial electronics, and SCADA systems.
* Ability to interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
* Excellent problem-solving and judgment skills.
* Proven ability to supervise a team of electricians and mentor colleagues.
Preferred Requirements:
* Additionalearly relevant qualifications such as Electrical Engineering.
* Experience with LEAN manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
