As a senior Data Modelling professional, you will advance our data modelling framework and practice at enterprise level, with a focus on enabling AI and generative AI solutions. You will guide the adoption of contemporary data modelling approaches and support the integration of traditional data management with modern AI use cases, positioning data modelling at the heart of our strategic transformation.
What you offer
* Significant experience in enterprise-level data and information modelling, including practical knowledge of leading data modelling tools such as erwin or equivalent
* Knowledge of data management and governance is beneficial for establishing data modeling as a core practice supporting risk reduction and enabling Macquarie's AI strategy
* Proven ability to oversee data modelling governance and build frameworks to support AI and generative AI enablement
* Introductory knowledge of AI, generative AI concepts, and working with LLM, with the ability to identify related value propositions.
* Understanding of modern data platform technologies, such as AWS and GCP, and the role of data modelling within these environments
* Experience in semantic modelling as well as defining frameworks that align data models with business semantics to improve discoverability, governance, and reuse will be highly beneficial
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage across business units, adapt to change, and deliver outcomes in a team-focused environment.
