The Opportunity
Are you passionate about ensuring high quality infrastructure and delivering essential services to the community? GMB Water is searching for a skilled Asset Inspector to join the team.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and improving wastewater, recycled water and bore water services, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry best practices. You will work closely with developers, contractors and internal teams to oversee the quality of wastewater infrastructure, conduct inspections and provide expert technical advice.
What We're Looking For
Our ideal candidate will bring:
* Trade qualification in Plumbing or equivalent experience in civil drainage installation
* Experience in civil infrastructure – wastewater, recycled water and water reticulation design and assessment
* Strong problem solving skills to assess issues, determine solutions and address non compliance
* Ability to conduct maintenance and repairs, including CCTV inspections, main flushing, planned and reactive tasks
* Experience in stakeholder engagement and negotiation
* Experience in construction quality verification, inspections and compliance with engineering standards
* Willingness to participate in an on call roster (1 in 3 weeks) for emergency repairs and network issues

Salary
The salary for this role is between $88,146 and $101,068 per annum, plus superannuation.
