About the role
Working as part of the University's recent Pre-Accelerator program, you will act as a key contact, working collaboratively with key stakeholders to support the administration and communications needs of the program, providing logistical and administrative support for Pre-accelerator activities and events.
Working between Ballarat Campuses this position is required to work after hours and/or weekends on occasions.
You will:
- con the development and distribution of engaging communications such as email, newsletters, social media, event platforms;
- provide administrative support for Pre-accelerator activities, such as providing a first point of call responding to inquiries and email monitoring;
- work collaboratively with a broad range of key stakeholders to ensure Pre-accelerator communications are high quality with consistent messaging;
- support the development of communication materials, creating awareness of the pre-accelerator program and keeping participants informed of program developments.
About you
Working under the general direction of the Senior Lecturer, Information Technology and closely with the Head, Corporate Communication, you will possess demonstrated administrative coordinate, including handling correspondence, maintaining records and supporting reporting and compliance requirements.
You will possess demonstrated:
- experience in organising and scheduling meetings and events;
- organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks across teams;
- excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- experience in or exposure to communications, promotion or marketing - including the creation of social media, key messages, internal communications, media and stakeholder materials.
