An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Administration Officer (Booking Officer) to join the Elective Surgery Services Team at the Hervey Bay Hospital within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 225,000 residents including several rural communities.

Your opportunity:
* To provide an efficient booking service for all patients, provide efficient utilisation of booking time available for Consultants and Clinician's, produce reports from Queensland Health information systems and undertake audits of waiting lists, in consultation with specialty case managers.
* The incumbent is responsible and accountable for assisting with the management of the waiting lists, largely without direct supervision, in accordance with Queensland Health Policy.
Permanent Full Time (76 hours p.f.) or Permanent Part Time Positions (hours negotiable).

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $114,177 p.a., comprising salary between $90, $100,071 p.a. (f/t) or salary between $ $50.47 p.h.
