**Your new role**
The Construction Supervisor is responsible for the efficient and effective management of site activities including the coordination of labour, plant, equipment, materials. The role is to supervise site activities and assist management in delivering the project on time / budget and to relevant Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality requirements.
The main responsibilities are:
- Overall leadership and management of relevant Site Supervisors
- Construction management support
- Procurement of project resources including labour, plant, equipment and materials
- Resource planning
- Subcontractor and supplier engagement
- Addressing and reporting any project program related issues
- Client and stakeholder management support
- Conducting relevant site inspections
- Stopping unsafe work practices
- Incident and emergency response
- Zero Harm (HSEQ) systems management and compliance
- Implementing corrective actions
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Trade qualified or relevant industry experience
- Intermediate / advanced use of Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint
- In depth and highly articulate knowledge and experience within the Water / Civil Contracting industry
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills of Site Supervisors
- Demonstrated project administrative experience
- Excellent time management / priority management skills
- Ability to problem-solve and recommend solution options
- Innovative (challenge what we do, drive industry best practice)
- Demonstrated knowledge and strong commitment to Zero Harm (HSEQ)
- Demonstrated ability to consult with personnel on Zero Harm (HSEQ)
