A growing and respected Melbourne construction company based in Richmond is seeking an experienced and confident Contract Administrator to support the delivery of a strong pipeline of high-quality, design-focused projects. The Role As the Contract Administrator, you'll be the commercial backbone of a portfolio of mid-scale commercial spaces, mixed-use developments, and boutique residential projects. These projects are architecturally driven, detail-rich, and offer the chance to work closely with a committed, collaborative project team. Your experience will be valued, and you'll enjoy the autonomy to manage your work with confidence and clarity. Key Responsibilities Manage head contracts and ensure obligations are met throughout the project lifecycle Prepare, negotiate, and administer subcontract packages Manage progress claims, variations, EOTs, and cost forecasting Support procurement and tender processes Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and compliance Work closely with project managers, site teams, consultants, and subcontractors Provide commercial insight during meetings and decision-making What You Bring 5-6 years' experience as a Contract Administrator in construction Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field Strong capability in independently managing head contracts Solid understanding of commercial risk, buildability, and contract law Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills High attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset Experience with architecturally designed, detail-driven builds If you're ready to bring your commercial strengths to a role where they truly matter, we'd love to hear from you.
