Overview
Assistant Account Executive – Insurance Broking. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Managing Director while managing your own portfolio of SME, domestic, and commercial clients. Based in East Melbourne with good transport links/parking spaces.
Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of around $70k GWP (mix of SME, domestic, business packs, and commercial risks).
* Support the MD with his larger portfolio, gaining exposure to more complex risks and client interactions.
* Handle processing, quotes, certificates of currency, and policy documentation via WinBEAT, Sunrise, and Steadfast systems.
* Attend client meetings and build strong relationships.
* Work in a collaborative, professional environment where staff are trusted, supported, and valued.

About You
* Minimum 2–3 years' experience in an Assistant Account Executive/Assistant Broker role.
* Tier 1 qualified.
* Strong skills using WinBEAT, Sunrise, and Steadfast platforms.
* Confident communicator with a proactive and professional approach.
* Keen to develop and eventually grow into managing larger, more complex accounts.
