About the role
We're looking for a killer
Shopify Web Developer - Full Stack (Lead)
to slash through our technical debt and build out new features. You will have access to a team of offshore developers who have been working for us.
Funky has enormous ambitions and everyone here is extremely locked in. We are looking for someone who shares our drive and desire for exceptional output.
You'll report directly to the CEO and work closely with the management team and Founder.
What you'll do
* Help stabilise the current build, work through the technical debt. Current Setup (Shopify + Appstle + custom code)
* Plan how we'll build the features we have in the pipeline
(the architecture is most important)
* Execute on the plan including managing our offshore team
* Check and make sure that all holes are covered before launch
Who we're ideally looking for
* Very hands on. At this stage there is more sprinting work than delegating work
* Looking for atleast 2+ years agency/freelance experience
* Looking for atleast 2+ years Shopify development
* Enjoy solving ambiguous, cross-functional problems
* Take full ownership of projects end-to-end
* Can break complexity into clear, structured steps
* Communicate simply, clearly, and with good judgement
* Like wearing multiple hats and operating without rigid hierarchy
* Are just as comfortable executing as you are planning
What to expect
* In-office (Woolloongabba), occasional warehouse visits (Rocklea)
* Must be based in Brisbane or willing to relocate

Salary
* $140,000 – $200,000 + super
* ESS packages negotiable for the right candidate, discussion starts after probation period (6 months)
