Overview
Executive - Travel & Events at Jainam Share Consultants Pvt. Ltd. Location: Head Office. Employment type: Full-time.
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning & Strategy: Assist in developing event plans, timelines, and checklists; understand client or internal stakeholder requirements to design suitable event experiences; perform venue research, pre-event site visits, and feasibility studies as needed.
On-Ground Event Execution: Travel to event locations across India as per business requirements; oversee all logistics at the venue — setup, registration, technical arrangements, branding, and flow; ensure timely coordination and execution of all event-related activities.
Vendor & Supplier Coordination: Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with local vendors for event materials (e.g., audio/visuals, decor, catering, transport, labor); ensure vendor deliverables meet quality standards and timelines; maintain a local vendor database for future references and cost optimization.
Budgeting & Reporting: Monitor event budgets, control costs, and ensure efficient use of resources; collect and report event metrics, feedback, and post-event analysis; prepare event closure reports with learnings and improvement suggestions.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: 2-4 years of hands-on event coordination experience, preferably with exposure to multi-city or nationwide events.
Skills: Strong project management and multitasking abilities; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; knowledge of event logistics, vendor sourcing, and ground operations; proficiency in MS Office and event management tools.
Travel: Willingness and flexibility to travel PAN India on short notice.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in corporate events, trade shows, exhibitions, or promotional roadshows; existing network of vendors and suppliers in multiple cities; ability to manage unforeseen challenges calmly and proactively.
