Overview
This role will be based in Murrin Murrin, WA on an 8 & 6 FIFO roster flying out of Perth and will be key in delivering our new Safety Strategy and enhancing safety capability across the Aurizon organisation.
Reporting to the Principal Safety Partner you will be part of a high performing team providing expert advice and support to our bulk haulage team at the Murrin Murrin site. This role will see you partnering with our operational teams to identify, develop, and implement safety initiatives and compliance activities that uplift BU safety capability, capacity and performance.
About you
You are an experienced Safety Professional with a history in operational safety management. Influential at all levels, you can have courageous conversations with frontline leaders, whilst being a trusted peer to the Safety Partnering Team. You have proven success in working across a broad stakeholder group to translate enterprise strategies into business initiative that deliver results.
* An expert on BU safety effectiveness that provides counsel and coaching to the BU leadership teams to uplift safety capability.
* Identify key business challenges / opportunities and collaborate with key corporate partners to design and deliver enterprise solutions.
* Monitor and review the effectiveness of safety policies, programs and processes using agreed measures and provide feedback for improvements to policy/process owners.
