About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe, competent, and contemporary clinical nursing care to residents within the scope of practice as determined by AHPRA. On a day-to-day basis, this position reports to the Care Manager and General Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Compiling Resident Histories
Compile comprehensive histories from residents and/or family members to identify care needs.
* Maintaining Accurate Documentation
Maintain accurate documentation of care delivery, including progress notes, medication charts, and other relevant documents.
* Completing Clinical Assessments
Complete ACFI assessments and other clinical documentation as required, ensuring that all necessary information is recorded and communicated effectively.
* Developing Resident Care Plans
Develop, implement, and evaluate resident care plans as directed, taking into account individual care needs and preferences.
* Providing Direct Clinical Care
Assist with direct clinical care of residents, including personal hygiene, pain management, and other aspects of daily care.
* Medication Administration
Administer medications to residents and maintain correct ordering, storage, and documentation procedures.
