Physiotherapy Career Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and skilled physiotherapist to join our team. As a casual physiotherapist, you will have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to positive health outcomes for Defence Force staff.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering evidence-based assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for musculoskeletal injuries in ADF members. This will involve working closely with doctors, nurses, PTIs, and allied health professionals in a collaborative team environment.
The ideal candidate will focus on injury prevention, performance, return-to-duty, and long-term wellbeing - not just pain management. They will use their clinical judgement to manage a diverse caseload across outpatient, rehab, and gym-based settings.
* Conduct group therapy, hydrotherapy, and equipment-assisted programs
* Keep detailed, compliant clinical records and participate in continuous quality improvement and audits
* Stay at the cutting edge through CPD, innovation, and a strong clinical governance framework
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Postgraduate degree in physiotherapy or equivalent qualification
* Current registration with the relevant professional body
* Experience in treating musculoskeletal injuries in a military or similar setting
* Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently
